01. Introduction
Camify provides website, desktop application, and related services. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
02. Eligibility, Age, and Account Security
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Camify account or use the desktop application. By registering or paying for credits, you confirm you meet this minimum age.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our security failure.
02a. AI Disclosure and Output Disclaimers
Camify uses third-party generative-AI infrastructure (Decart Inc.) to produce real-time stylized character output. AI-generated visual output is synthetic and may not accurately represent reality. You acknowledge that:
- You will not present AI-generated visual output as authentic footage of any real person.
- You will disclose the use of AI character output in contexts where misleading the viewer would be unlawful or unethical (for example, news reporting, political messaging, financial advice, or identity verification).
- Camify does not warrant that any generated character resembles, or fails to resemble, any specific real person.
03. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use Camify to break the law or harm others. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Fraud, scams, impersonation, identity theft, or deceptive schemes.
- Money laundering, payment abuse, chargeback fraud, or stolen payment methods.
- Uploading, transmitting, or promoting illegal content or illegal services.
- Circumventing security, abusing APIs, unauthorized scraping, or service interference.
- Violating privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or consent laws.
04. Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination
We may investigate suspected abuse and take action without prior notice where necessary. Actions may include warning, content removal, temporary suspension, permanent ban, transaction hold, or account termination.
We may preserve relevant records for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute handling.
05. Reporting Abuse and Law Enforcement Cooperation
If you suspect fraud or abuse, contact abuse@camifycam.com with all available evidence.
We may disclose information to law enforcement, regulators, payment processors, and fraud-prevention partners when required by law or when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect rights, or enforce these Terms.
06. Billing and Payments
Paid plans, credits, and one-off purchases are offered in fiat via PayFast, and in cryptocurrency (manual Bitcoin and USDT settlements verified by an admin). By purchasing, you authorise applicable charges and taxes. Camify credit purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law. Cryptocurrency payments. Bitcoin and USDT payments are processed manually: you send the agreed amount to the wallet shown at checkout and submit the transaction id (TXID). Your account is credited after on-chain confirmation and admin review. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Once confirmed they cannot be reversed by Camify. Refunds for crypto purchases, where granted, are issued in credits or in fiat at the day-of-refund exchange rate.
Monthly credit reset. Unused account credits reset to zero on the first day of each calendar month. Credits purchased at any point during a month follow the same schedule. Credits bought late in the month are still subject to reset on the first day of the following month. Please use your credits in the month of purchase to avoid loss. Pricing is reviewed monthly and may change with each reset cycle. Contact support before purchasing late in the month if this policy affects your usage plans.
07. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
08. Limitation of Liability and User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your conduct, content, and transactions using Camify. Camify does not direct or control user decisions and is not a party to fraudulent conduct by users.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Camify is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of revenue, profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
09. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Camify and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, violation of law, or misuse of the service.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Camify is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to resolve disputes in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
